Colleyville is growing with new retail and businesses opening monthly. Our newest addition will be an IMAX movie theater and Borders Bookstore which will be located near Market Street and LifeTime Fitness. Residential new construction is also continuing with condos, custom built villas and estate homes. The median home price for Colleyville is $378,300 which is up 10% from 2004. There are neighborhoods in Colleyville that start in the late $100,000 and there are homes that sell over $1,000,000. The Colleyville Nature Center is a great place to play, hike and fish. The Grapevine Colleyville School District is award winning and has 19 schools, currently 4 Exemplary Elementary Schools, and all middle schools are Recognized by the TEA Accountability Standards.
Southlake has seen a huge growth in the last 10 years and has become a premier address in the metroplex. The median home price in Southlake for 2005 was $461,000 which is a 14% increase from 2004. The Carroll ISD has 11 schools, 6 of which are rated Exemplary and 5 Recognized. Southlake Town Square is the place to shop, dine and enjoy an old town like atmosphere.
Grapevine offers a diverse choice of housing options. Downtown Grapevine is a Historic District and many homes have been renovated. Grapevine also offers many homes close to Grapevine Lake. The median home price for Grapevine is $199,250. Grapevine has award winning parks and trails, great shopping downtown and also has Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall.
The Mid-Cities includes Hurst Euless and Bedford. The Hurst-Euless-Bedford School district has 30 schools, 16 are Recognized and 11 are rated Acceptable. The median price for Hurst is $135,000, a 5% increase from last year, Euless is $146,000 a 1% increase and Bedford’s is $159,000 a 6% increase from last year. The HEB area has established neighborhoods with strong recreational departments.
Keller and its school district are growing rapidly. Keller proper is located just west of Southlake. Portions of Fort Worth use the Keller zip code and school district and there are many new master planned communities. Keller proper’s median sales price for 2005 is $242,500 which is a 10% increase from 2004. The Fort Worth area that shares the Keller ISD’s median sales price is $143,000 which is a 5% increase from the year before. Keller offers country living with modern amenities.
